XIAO LONG XIA

Yesterday, got a chance to try new menu I never saw it anywhere before called Xiao Long Xia or mini lobster or clawfish.

I did heard a lot of bad, risky, warning of eating these small cute baby lobsters. Kinda excited to me when we planning to have them as I was told by many of my friends about how delicious they were…

Went to Fomo restaurant, near Jin’an temple.

Sorry bad photo and their size were really small, around an inch-ish I reckon.
The taste is quite ok, but I am not really that pleased, better have something else.

THAI FOOD IN CHINA

Today, met Alvin for dinner at the Thai restaurant called Muang Thai kitchen.
My first time to eat Thai food since I have come here for a month, missed our Thai taste a lot.

Order too much and very full, but still good that not often to eat Thai food here cuz it still really original taste and it is quite expensive compare to other international food.

This restaurant could be the first aid to heel my Thai food desire decease. It is nearly close to real Thai taste.

285 RMB for 6 dished and 2 bottles of beer.

MALA TANG

Ni hao!

I have found a food that I never had it anywhere. It is called Mala Tang (mala is some kind of Chinese chilli and tang means soup).

Choose what you would like to eat and put them in a private small basket

Then bring your small basket to the cook and they will tell you how much you have to pay and cook your food

Nothing much, just boil it like sukiyaki

I have come half way

It is similar to our Kao Lao but the taste is very very hot and spicy even I didnt add more chili. Good for eating during winter definitely not in summer

Nothing much for today, but I will update more interesting things in China again.

Accidently found this during my cyber surfing,

It is an oden restaurant called Okame and located in Tokyo.

I have no idea if this is whether called OG oden or not, but looks delicious to me.

Never had a chance to try oden even I have been to Japan several times.

Hope next time if I go to Tokyo I could visit this restaurant.

BANKARA RAMEN

Ramen was my today’s brunch.

The restaurant is called Bankara Ramen and located at Sukhumvit 39,

First thing I saw on the table, peeled fresh garlic with a crusher (sorry, dont know how it is called)

My dish, noodle with applying sauce plus butter, corn, and stewed pork…250 Baht if I m not wrong

Also order Gyoza and Memma, they were quite nice.

For the Ramen, if you like ramen, this is a worth try so go there and teste by yourself.

I am not good at explaining about food especially ramen.

LA VILLA

Nothing to do today.

Just went out for dinner at La Villa (near Aree BTS station).

Tried YUU, a Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor, then iBerry at the ground floor.

My meal, overall was good, if it could be just cheaper

From my view, La Villa is my another place of choice if I have no idea where to go.

The environment is quite good, very quiet, not too packed, and many chicks!
