HANGZHOU

Have been soooooo busy for quite a long while, just got sometime to come back to blog. Didnt talk about Hangzhou where I went for the long holiday, it is another city which is around 180 KM away from Shanghai. Hangzhou is well-known for it beautiful natural scenery becuz of West Lake (or Xi Hu in Chinese).

In my opinion, the lake is the only one tourist spot here. Many of both foreigners and Chinese people heading to the lake to view its beauty every minutes, especially during this holiday.

The lake is in the middle of the land so people can rent a bike and ride around the lake, which is pretty damn long round. Or, can rent a boat to float along the lake.

For heavy hardcore shoppers, you dont need to worry, Hangzhou is also one of the best places to kill your wallet. I saw almost every lux brands in the world’ shops here. And if you need to buy some streetwear brands, just head to Hangzhou Tower shopping mall. There is a shop called “SHINE”, they carry visvim, undercover, PLAY CDG, Mastermind Japan, Undercover, OriginalFake, and so on-what else do you need? The next door shopping mall (I have totally forgotten the name) also has another branch of SHINE. The time I went, some Undercover, Original Fake x NEIGHBORHOOD, and visvim items were 20-50% off.
What a deal!

SHANGHAI CROWDED

China is now having the 60th anniversary celebration across the country, we have 8 days off starts from the 1st to 8th October. As normally Chinese people always take this opportunity to visit their family or travel to other places. Shanghai is also one of the cities having the most people from other cities, provinces, or countries visiting. At the moment, every staple spot here is extremely crowded.

Just like other days off, I went around the city as usual. For true I am swearing I never saw a lot of people as much as today, very hard to walk, was canned even on the street!

Got a call from my other friends to meet them up at People Square then catch a cab to get there, as said Chinese walker troop already there.

Every time I am here, I always pop up this store, the biggest Nike flagship store in Shanghai. Yea, you can make your own pair of Nike iD here too.

The building next to Nike store is Raffle City shopping mall, saw Tokyo Tech pack has been launched already.

Crowd again at Nanjing Road, very famous and long walking street (more than 5 KM from what I heard). Actually tt is always busy and crowd here even in the normal days.

XIAO LONG XIA

Yesterday, got a chance to try new menu I never saw it anywhere before called Xiao Long Xia or mini lobster or clawfish.

I did heard a lot of bad, risky, warning of eating these small cute baby lobsters. Kinda excited to me when we planning to have them as I was told by many of my friends about how delicious they were…

If you wanna find out how dangerous of eating them, just google away.

Went to Fomo restaurant, near Jin’an temple.

Sorry bad photo and their size were really small, around an inch-ish I reckon.
The taste is quite ok, but I am not really that pleased, better have something else.

SHANGHAI FLIGHT

I have made a come back to Shanghai for my study again. It is real pain in the ass when I want to blog in China as ever cuz wordpress is still blocked here.

After had had some rest, got some dress and of cuz, went to Juice Stand opening today. I reached there around 3.50pm and many people were lining up in the front already.

Met some friends Kevin from New Balance, Sean, and Iven from CLOT.

I was in the line around 20 mins to get in the store. It is kinda small but looks so cute as its name “Juice Stand”

For anyone wondering what they have for sell, there was not a lot of stuff, I saw adidas ObyO Kazuki (Campus 80 NBHD and Superstar 80 Whiz sold out by the time I got in the store), 3 Ways Consortium but only Asian group, the D-mop x ACU x Stan Smith looked quite beauty though, and some CLOTONE product, just some.

I was able to try New Balance M575J x Staple “White Pigeon” at the new nearby sneaker store too, SOLEGOODZ. Still plenty left in Shanghai with 1280 RMB price tag. The owner is Kevin’s friend. The store is officially retailing Puma and New Balance

Not sure I was lucky or unlucky my usually size, 8US and 9US didnt fit me properly :S

Sorry no pics of Juice, too many people and looked kinda only odd person to snap photo around.

Then went to meet up with my other Thai friends at another boutique store called Source and find some dinner.

Part of adidas Originals’s Fall/Winter 09, this pack is inspired from street culture of Tokyo.

Very nice detailing,

Also can be reversible but prefer you guys to check it later at Originals store.

I personally like them since the first time I saw it. The design, color, and material look promising to me.

Just received 2 FW09 Originals booklets from Japan.
